Are They Worth It? Brawl Stars 2020 Limited Lunar Skins Review

The new Brawl Stars Lunar skins have all been released, and boy are they some of the most intriguing skins to enter the game. Are they worth it though? In this post, I will be showing you everything that they can do and help you decide whether or not they’re worth the Gems! Let’s get into this Lunar skins review.

First up: Street Ninja Tara.

Street Ninja Tara

Street Ninja Tara is an 80 gem skin that comes with special effects, a custom animation, and, of course, a brand new brawler model.
Instead of the classic playing cards that are usually seen, she throws out a set of three video-game style cards.
Her animation has three cards spinning around her and her model comes complete with a zipper and sneakers!
Is she worth the 80 gems? For sure!

Next up on the list is Heroine Bibi – first skin!

Heroine Bibi

Heroine Bibi costs 150 gems, and for a first skin, it is surprising how amazing it is!

Similar to Street Ninja Tara, she comes with custom effects, a custom brawler model, and custom animations. Her animation consists of a pretty sweet flip in the air and a Star Wars-like force pull to draw her sword back to her. Furthermore, her new effects include a pixelated bat swing and a pixelated bubble! Who needs bubble gum when you have pixels? Her model looks like something from a video game, coming with a new hairstyle, arcade-themed attire, and, of course, an awesome sword!
Is our hero worth it? If it was up to me, I would have reduced the price to 80 gems, but because it is limited, I say it is a must-have.

Last on our list is Virus 8-Bit.

Virus 8-bit fanart

Virus 8-Bit is a premium skin costing 300 gems, but when I first saw the model, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it.

The skin includes an amazing brawler model, incredible animations, and some stunning effects. His animation plays a villainous laughing action and it lasts about as long as the Witch Shelly animation from Brawl-o-ween.
His model gives off an evil vibe with the black recolor, green misplaced light, and the pink, spider-like legs. His effects include a trail of some ominous looking liquid, glitched-out laser shots, and a seemingly corrupted turret.
Worth the 300 gems? With everything this skin has going for it, I definitely say that it is.
